Clearance Requirements
We were instructed to clear a 1 bedroomed Mid-terraced home situated within Shildon, County Durham. Situated on the periphery of the Town Centre. The property had been empty for over 6 months and was to be modernised once the clearance had been completed.
Clearance Overview
We were required to clear all the contents including carpets. Most of the household effects had already been removed as this house was a repossession and sold at auction we were left with the residue, which included some large items of furniture and general household contents. There was plenty of parking space available, but unfortunately access to the rear lane and yard was restricted so the contents had to be cleared through property.
Disposal of Contents
In this case the furniture and white goods consisted of 2 sofas and 2 chairs, TV stand with TV( old style CRT type), dining table with 4 chairs, a tall boy, a divan bed base, a washer and fridge freezer (after deep cleaning) were in usable condition we donated them to a local church project..The carpets although not usable in a home where donated through Facebook to a man with racing pigeons for his pigeon loft.
Our dedicated team took care of the rear yard and disposed of everything unfortunately most of it was waste including plaster board and an old sofa with chairs which had to be taken to a local recycling centre and disposed of correctly.
