We were contacted by the son of the house holder who was moving into care, we were asked to carry out a complete clearance of this three-bedroom house on Hexham Walk, Oakwood, Derby DE21.
Clearance Overview
The team collected the keys to the property from the next door neighbour shortly before 9am on the day of the clearance and the team immediately set to work removing items. It was clear that the majority of items were donatable.There was a lot of clutter throughout the property, and we put this into bags to remove it quicker we sorted this out at our own recycling centre.
Disposal of Contents
All of the items that could be used were donated to a local charity shop. These included a sofa and chairs, Also the entire contents of the kitchen. As the lady had amassed quite a stockpile of canned food we donated this to a local food bank.
